Capcom released more than twenty years ago, specifically at the end of 1999, the classic Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, on the PlayStation 1 and GameCube.

I can say, based on sales figures and player ratings, that Resident Evil 3 Remake was not the success that we hoped for or waited for, and this is due to several reasons, the most important of which is focusing heavily on the action element at the expense of adventure and puzzles, and then the very short life span of the game .

In addition to ignoring an entire map such as the clock tower area, which in the original version contained many fun secrets and puzzles, despite rumors that a special version will be issued later called the Nemesis Edition, which will contain an updated version of the game that includes those additions that we missed.

But indie developer Santiago Ibarra wanted to make up for it, taking 5 months to design all the details of the clock tower area in Resident Evil 3 but with the new Unreal Engine 5 development engine, adding all the details that were supposed to be in the remake.

More on Resident Evil 3:

The Resident Evil series is considered one of the strongest titles of the Japanese company Capcom, where, after a significant stagnation in the popularity of the game after a series of disappointing parts, the series returned strongly to the fore again after the release of the seventh part, and then the release of Resident Evil 2 Remake, which met with unparalleled popularity and success.

At the time, it was considered a revolution in the world of video games, due to its innovative ideas and puzzles, in addition to the graphics and very distinct gameplay, not to mention having an exciting story inside Raccoon City that we cannot easily forget, as it was one of the first games that came up with the idea of zombies and infectious viruses .
